Words, that is a tricky one. One can not never say that they can convey all their intentions and understandings when it come to verbal expression of words, especially for speaking to others.
How about you going on record with Korean law enforcement? - Even for a very minor incident – your words will be very carefully scrutinized. Falsely reporting an incident is a crime, and depending on why someone lies, it’s an issue that could lead to further charges.
Let’s say you’re wrongfully charged with crime that you never committed. It happens, believe or not, very frequently. While you’re watching famous criminal documentaries on netflix and saying ‘oh my god, I can not believe that just happened!’, well, It can be your case as well.
In the blink of time, you need to be very cold-hearted. Let your mind and body be cool down enough to process what really happened to you.
Korean Criminal Act, Article 156(False Accusation) defines ‘False Accusation’ as,
A person who reports false information to a public office or a public official for the purpose of having a criminal or disciplinary punishment imposed upon another, shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than ten years, or a fine not exceeding 15 million won. <Amended by Act No. 5057, Dec. 29, 1995>
If you can handle the first stage of investigation with sound mind, you can get the justice by pressing charge the one who falsely accused you for that crime.
